A 30 mile fatass run on the North Country Trail! This section is primarily rail trail along the Allegheny River.   Be sure to download the Avenza map to your phone and grab the free maps from the North Country Trail website. The maps are PDF-enabled so you’ll be able to see where you are at any given time.  We will use PA maps 15-21 for our run, which will start in the parking area of the Allegheny River Trail in Emlenton and follow the Blue blazes of the NCT all the way to Route 322 parking area.

Water drops are planned for mile 14.5 and 24.5 along our route, but bear in mind this time of year the water may very well freeze.  Be prepared by carrying a large amount of water on you.  As this is a fatass run there is no formal aid along the way.
